He Is Risen

(The Beginning of Holy Week Pt. 5)

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. John 11:25-26.

Good morning,

Happy Sunday, Happy Easter, and Happy Resurrection Day!

“Christ is Risen!”

“He is risen indeed!”

Father,

We give thanks for the many blessings that You bestow upon us. But today we focus and give thanks for the ultimate sacrifice of giving your one and only Son to die on the cross at Calvary. He was betrayed, mocked, and brutalized, but yet He persevered and took the weight of the sins of the world upon His shoulders so that we might live and have hope.  We give You the glory, the honor, and the praise for giving us the opportunity to be obedient, to repent, and to receive revelation. Today we are grateful for Your unconditional love, mercy, and extension of grace for us that are so undeserving. You have given us hope, a renewal of spirit, an inheritance, and a relationship with You. For these things, we are truly grateful. To  God be the glory! Amen.

What is your prayer today? Read Ephesians 1.

“With great power, the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all.” Acts 4:33.
