Thank You Lord
Reveal to me
Through mine eyes
Where I am suppose to be
I feel alone
Without direction
Of who I am to call “me.”
My best of who I am is given
And spread all around
But what is left for me
When hollow walls make no sound?
I sit in silence and wait
For you to give me guidance through words
When I don’t hear or receive a
Sign, I question whether I am heard.
You may not answer quickly
For my life is filled with sin
Truth be told the devil is
In this battle to win.
Despite that my life is held
And squeezed with a powerful, sinful grip
I thank you kindly that you
Have not left me alone to make this trip
Knowing I’m not deserving, and feeling
The need to pray,
I humbly thank you Lord for
Blessing me everyday!
